Major League Soccer (MLS) continues to grow after the arrival of big stars like Messi, but it is also generating new young talent with an impressive future in world soccer. In this article we will take a look at some of these youngsters who will be setting the pace in the coming years:

Benjamin Cremaschi (Inter Miami)

The 18-year-old is one of the pearls of David Beckham's team, the player who arrived at the club in 2021 for the youth ranks has performed extraordinarily well. In 2022 he managed to lead the U-17 team to the semi-finals of the championship and thanks to that he was promoted to the second team making some very good matches.

Last year Cremaschi made his debut with the Inter Miami first team and became a fixture in the team, the youngster is a midfielder who covers the whole field and has also shown great personality by taking the decisive penalty in the round of 16 of the playoffs last year.

The youngster with dual US and Argentine nationality has aroused interest in both national teams, he has already played in the youth categories of both teams and made his debut in a friendly with the US senior national team, although he still has time to opt for either one of them.

Caleb Wiley (Atlanta United)

The 21-year-old left-back made his debut for Atlanta United in 2022 and quickly established himself in the team's starting eleven.  At the age of 18 and in his second season, he managed to win one of the player of the week awards, thanks to an impressive performance against Charlotte FC. In this match Caleb scored two goals and dished out an assist, becoming the fifth youngest player to participate in three goals in an MLS match.

Willey is a left-back with a great offensive projection, even playing as a winger at times. Thanks to his versatility and high level, he was called up by the United States senior national team last year to face Mexico in a friendly.  In this match he made his debut as a senior international and this past January he was called again to play another friendly against Slovenia.

Noel Buck (New England Revolution)

The 18-year-old midfielder made his debut with New England in 2022, but it was not until last season that he became a regular in the team's starting eleven. Buck, like Cremaschi, has dual nationality, in this case English and American, despite having played with both national teams at youth level. He has also played an official match with the England U-19 team.

Even the famous sports journalist Fabrizio Romano has commented that he is a player to follow in this year 2024 and that he has already aroused a lot of interest in European clubs, especially in English teams. The great level that this player has shown in just one season has impressed a lot in Europe and it seems that soon he will play for a club in this continent.

Brian Gutierrez (Chicago Fire)

The current 20 year old player of the Chicago Fire plays as an attacking midfielder, last season he managed to score two goals and distribute 7 assists and this season has started in the best possible way, in the first MLS game he has managed to give an assist and score a goal giving the victory to his team.

Brian has dual Mexican and U.S. nationality, despite having always played in the lower categories of the U.S. national team, the Mexicans want to get his services to get a jump in level and be more competitive in upcoming tournaments.

Jovan Mijatovic (New York City)

The 18-year-old Serbian striker is the most experienced of this list of players despite his young age. The former Red Star player has already played matches in the top European competitions and has won the Serbian league and cup. This season he played in the Champions League and scored eight goals in 14 games in the Serbian league.

In New York they are delighted with the signing of this young player for this season and he has already played his first minutes with the team. Although it is not usual to see a transfer of a European talent to MLS it is becoming more and more common as it happened with Riqui Puig in his transfer. The Serbian forward has a very promising future and can fill the fans of the New York team with good moments.
